Job Description

Pipefitter

Applies basic pipefitting processes to join, surface, fabricate, repair, or replace piping systems (e.g., steel, cuni).

Works from blueprints, engineering sketches, charts, or work orders.

Uses measuring tools and related equipment to target and fit piping.

Sil-brazes cuni pipe.

May inspect completed work for conformance to specifications.

Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures.

Participates in special projects, as required.

Education

Requires a High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work experience.

Technical or vocational training preferred.

Experience

1-3 years of related pipefitting experience.

Required Certifications

Brazing qualification CUNI and copper/face feed.

Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40

Travel Required: 10-25%

Telecommuting Options: Onsite
