Description:
We are seeking a Registered Nurse with a specialty in Labor & Delivery.
This position requires three 12-hour night shifts per week.
The nurse will work in a maternity unit providing care to antepartum, newborn, and outpatient OB/GYN patients, including those in the NICU.
The unit has a bed size of 16 for maternity, 12 for nursery, and 4 for NICU, with delivery volumes averaging 50-60 births per month.
The nursing ratios are 1:1 for labor, 1:2 for postpartum, and 2:1 for NICU care.
The nurse will administer medications including glucose, magnesium, pitocin, and insulin.
An NRP certificate and documentation of required training are necessary.
Candidates should have experience with electronic fetal monitoring and must furnish a skills checklist specific to Labor & Delivery.
This position does not require floating to other units.
Weekend work is required every third weekend, and holiday coverage is also part of the role. About Cynet Health
