Virtual Care Advanced Practice Nurse

Department : Pre Op AIP - The ANM supports a team of RNs and support staff who care for patients before surgery. We care for patients having surgery for a wide range of procedures such as a knee replacement to a CABG to a liver transplant; gyn onc and urology surgeries as well. This job entails 4 10hr shifts. We have nurses who are engaged and invested in our patients and improving the care we provide. The staff members say that Pre-op is a gem that is not widely known about in the hospital.
Work Schedule: Full Time, 80.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)

This position is an onsite role and does not offer a hybrid or remote option
Bachelor's in Nursing. Preferred: Master's in Nursing.
~ State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN). Provides top of scope practice in direct patient care utilizing the nursing process
Models proficiency through precepting those new to healthcare and/or UCHealth
Contributes to secure safety and quality at the point of care
Direct care includes practice in Perioperative, PACU (Post Anesthesia Care Unit) or Operating Room levels of care
AORN and ABPANC core curriculum and certifications standards are included in evidence-based care models
Clinical Educators support and guide individualized specialty education and training for competency validation throughout clinical orientation.
