CNC Machine Set Up Machinist

MachinistWe are seeking a skilled Machinist to join our team, with a flexible schedule of Monday to Friday, either from 6am to 2:30pm or from 7am to 3:30pm. During training, new employees will work from 7am to 3:30pm. The role involves operating CNC Mill or CNC Lathe, working with both manual and CNC machines, and setting up machines using blueprints, tooling selection, G code, M code, or Mastercam software.Responsibilities:Operate CNC Mill or CNC Lathe.Work off blueprints to set up and operate machines.Select tools and utilize G code, M code at the machine, or Mastercam software.Run piece work with 1 to 300 parts tops.Perform 2-6 set ups a day.Utilize Haas equipment VF2 and VF4, manual mills and lathes, and ID/OD and jig grinders.Essential Skills:Experience with blueprint reading and machining.Proficiency in using calipers and micrometers.Skill in setting up machines and tool selection.Experience with CNC, lathe, grinder, and mill operations.Additional Skills & Qualifications:Schooling or training on CNC with about a year of experience.Trainable and capable of retaining information.Why Work Here?Join a company that offers a contract-to-direct opportunity with comprehensive support to ensure your success.
