ASICS Engineering General Summary:
As a member of the Qualcomm Process & Package Solutions Engineering team, this candidate will help drive transistor design, process integration, and design enablement for PMIC Technologies at foundry partners, in addition to supporting internal design and test engineering teams.
Position requires to be in San Diego full time
Bring-up custom PMIC technologies in partner foundries, including meeting performance and reliability specs, and process qualification.
Enable new transistors with improved KPI in existing PMIC technologies to meet new product performance requirements.
Perform TCAD for developing and optimizing new devices and provide guidance to foundries to develop them.
Perform technology benchmarking based on electrical performance, layout and reliability.
Good understanding of basic digital and analog circuit design and operation, and digital and analog circuit design flows.
Good knowledge of FEOL and BEOL unit processes including Lithography, Etch, PVD/CVD deposition, implant, CMP, etc.
Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field and 4+ years of ASIC design, verification, validation, integration, or related work experience.

OR PhD in Science, Engineering, or related field and 2+ years of ASIC design, verification, validation, integration, or related work experience.
