Head of management hr

For our client, we are seeking a Human Resources Director to join the team of a leader in the Energy & Utilities space.

This role will shape enterprise HR strategy and partner closely with senior leadership to support a strong, compliant, and high-performing workforce.

The position will also oversee day-to-day HR operations, guide labor relations activity, and help ensure the organization is positioned for long-term organizational readiness.

In this on-site leadership role, you will influence people practices that support employee retention, workforce stability, and operational excellence.

Responsibilities Lead HR strategy development to attract and retain a diverse workforce

Manage HR department operations with a focus on performance excellence

Communicate HR policies and recommendations to the Senior Leadership Team

Ensure compliance with state and federal HR regulations through program oversight

Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resource Management, or a related field, or 20 years of HR experience, including 5 years in management

12 years of exempt HR experience, including 5 years in a managerial role

Strong grasp of HR compliance regulations, including FLSA, PERC, ADA, FMLA/PFML, EEO, and related requirements

Proven ability to consult with senior leaders on HR strategies and organizational readiness

Skilled in talent acquisition and development, with experience in driving diverse applicant pools
