We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team of healthcare professionals at River Bend Health and Rehabilitation. As a Physical Therapist Assistant at our organization, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients, from seniors to individuals with complex medical conditions, in a warm and supportive environment.

As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide high-quality, patient-centered care. Assisting physical therapists in the development and implementation of treatment plans

• Providing therapy services to patients, including exercises, stretches, and other modalities
• Communicating with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure effective care coordination
• Work collaboratively with physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Assist patients in achieving their maximum level of independence and function, while promoting overall physical and mental well-being
• Participate in patient education and training, providing guidance on proper techniques and safety precautions
• Associate's degree in Physical Therapist Assistant studies or related field

• Current certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in the state of North Carolina
• 1 year of experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant (entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
