Employment Type: Locum tenens (contract) - locum tenens cardiology / locum tenens urology

Schedule: 24-hour hospital/ED shifts with call back requirements; Facility: 500-bed hospital, main transfer facility for Southwest Virginia; Minimum 1 year of hospital-based experience in Cardiology or Urology (preferred experience with both disciplines)

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology or Urology

Current Virginia State Medical License required (VA medical license)

Comfortable managing general urology cases, common cardiac consults, and using Da Vinci robotics when indicated

Provide 24-hour hospital and ED coverage with timely call back response (20-minute in-person response requirement)

Manage general urology cases including kidney stones and common procedural cases; Perform surgical cases using Da Vinci robotic platform when indicated and credentialed

Document patient care thoroughly in eCW and MediTech EMR systems

Collaborate with hospitalists, ED teams, and surgical staff to provide high-quality inpatient care
