RN- Health Care (Full-Time

MaineGeneral is seeking a dedicated RN to join our team on 3 South, our inpatient behavioral health unit at the Alfond Center for Health in Augusta. This state-of-the-art unit was designed in collaboration with staff and patients, creating a unique environment that sustains safe, innovative, and supportive care. Registered Nurse (RN)

Location: Alfond Center for Health, Augusta

Schedule: Full-time (36 hours/week)

Shift: Days (7a-7p)

Plans, implements, and evaluates patient care plans based on patient assessment to optimize outcomes and maximize available resources. Collaborates as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, admissions, discharge, referral, and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.

Effectively delegates and communicates patient care needs to ancillary personnel. May precept student nurses and new hires

Active Maine RN license (or ability to obtain promptly) - required

• 1 year of acute care RN experience working with this patient population - preferred
• New Graduate RNs are encouraged to apply!
• Shift Differentials: Earn up to an additional $7/hr. for select shifts.
