Position Janitor

Schedule Mon-Friday; flexible either 10:00 am to 2:00 pm or 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm; 20 hours a week; Seasonal

Salary/Grade $10.00 per hour; 70 Non-Exempt

Position Overview

Assist maintenance technician with janitorial duties during the day camp season.

Duties

Daily wipe down chairs and tables in fellowship hall

Daily sweep and mop fellowship hall and classroom floors

Daily dust mop gym floor

Daily clean bathrooms in Fellowship Hall and restock

Daily removal of trash and take to dumpster

Assist with setting up rooms for day camp as needed—tables, chairs, special activities, etc.

Assist with yard maintenance, including but not limited to: clean up of debris/yard waste, trash pick up of entire property, weeding front landscaping.

Minimum Qualifications

High School graduate or High School Equivalency diploma.

Pennsylvania's Child Protective Services Law requires that all prospective employees complete the following clearance and background checks: PA Child Abuse History Clearance, PA State Police Criminal Record Check, and PA DHS Criminal Record/Fingerprint Check. In addition, completion of a Pennsylvania approved Child Abuse Recognition and Reporting Training is necessary prior to employment.
