Recruiter (hourly recruitment)

We are seeking a talented Recruiter to join our team across our North American companies. Our location currently is in Overland Park, KS, but we are moving to the Olathe, KS area into a new facility in 2026. The Recruiter must demonstrate a successful track record of recruiting and identifying top talent for positions at all levels within an organization.

Work with Recruiter team on recruitment and onboarding initiatives.

Partner with and build relationships with Hiring Managers for position intake meetings and conduct the best practices for recruitment overtime.

Create and update job descriptions, post positions, and review applications.

Utilize Job Boards and LinkedIn Recruiter to source for candidates for open requisitions.

Screen candidates over the phone to identify suitability for position and to promote the company brand.

Develops strategy to acquire talent to ensure vacancies are filled timely, new and expanding programs are staffed for production needs, and retirement replacement plans are executed.

Prepares and extends the approved job offers, sign-on bonuses, relocation agreements, and any other incentives. Develops knowledge of benefit plans, incentives, and corporate policies to accurately address applicant inquiries.

Build relationships with universities, trade schools and high schools for internship opportunities and future candidates.

Maintain records of requisitions, internal and external job postings, approvals, and applicant tracking data.

2-4 Years of Recruiting experience (Corporate or Agency Setting)

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

Experience with the use of applicant tracking software and HR databases

Able to manage several projects while maintaining attention to detail

Knowledge of social media, professional networks

Recruiting for defense, mobility, or air traffic industries

Recruiting for both salary positions and hourly/production positions (shipping, assembly, technicians, etc.)
