GardaWorld Security Services is now hiring an Armed Tactical Officer. Must have law enforcement experience, military service with a focus on special operations units or military police experience, or Armed Response Officer (or identical role) experience, of at least 5 consecutive years within the last 7 years.
What matters most in a role like this is your ability to read the environment, anticipate risk, and act accordingly. As a Security Officer – Tactical, physical ability is essential as you will be moving around your entire shift, patrolling environments such as retail stores, airports, detention centers, etc.
Site Location: Schedule: Full-Time: Monday - Friday 3:00 PM - 11:00PM 40HRS. Competitive hourly wage of $33.06 / HR (DailyPay is available for GardaWorld employees!)

Responsibilities of Tactical Security Guard:

Serve as the initial point of contact for police, fire, and EMS during incidents.
Regular live-fire training and qualifications along with live drill tactical scenario training.
Must demonstrate proficiency in handgun operation, the ability to disassemble and reassemble a firearm
Excellent customer service is always your top priority.
Officers must be warm and approachable while staying vigilant—greeting and acknowledging visitors, customers, top clients, and executives, maintaining eye contact, and staying aware of all entrances and surroundings.
You observe, survey the area and provide reporting on activity at your assigned location.
You're great with reading and writing detailed reports.
You know when and how to enforce customer procedures, regulations and standards.
React quickly to threats or incidents
Document incidents and actions taken
Respond to alarms and conduct on-site checks
Qualifications of Tactical Security Guard:

• Proper jurisdictional licensing to be an armed security professional, with the ability to carry a firearm covertly.
• Proficiency in the use of firearms, specifically the semi-automatic pistol platform.
• Specialized training in crisis management, emergency medicine, or incident response.
• Must have 2-5 years of Armed Security Experience.
• Documented firearms range score of 90 percentage points or higher, utilizing the semi-automatic pistol platform, with a recognized 50-round course of fire.
• Documented completion of judgmental use of force instructional course within the past 2 years.
• Training in verbal de-escalation tactics and a demonstrated proficiency in verbal communication.
• High school diploma or equivalent; Be able to ace (and pass) an extensive screening process, online armed assessments, gun range assessment, drug, physical assessments, and various other trainings to be hired.
• Must be able to travel out of state for required training.
