Under minimal supervision, functions as a scrub and circulating nurse. Participates in call assignments including nights, weekends, and holidays. Ability to comply with department standards inclusive of attendance, dress code, and a varied work schedule. The primary responsibilities of the clinical nurse include, but are not limited to, the proper care of instrumentation and equipment; direct nursing care of patients utilizing the nursing process; development and application of leadership, delegation, and communication concepts; teaching of patients, staff, and students; maintenance of professional standards. Function as a member of a team. Participate in maintaining a survey-ready environment. Ensure patient safety by following regulatory and hospital standards of care.
