Maintenance Repair Support Tech

Hugg and Hall Equipment Company is looking for someone with mechanical knowledge and customer service skills to join our team as a Preventative Maintenance Tech in the field.
About The Position PM Field Service Mechanics perform routine maintenance on various types of customer and company-owned material handling equipment within a designated territory.
In This Role, You Will Perform preventative maintenance tasks on various types of construction equipment in the field to prolong its lifespan.
Continuously communicate in a courteous and effective manner with customers and co-workers including Salespeople, Coordinators, and Managers regarding job progress and general updates
Maintain a safe working environment and observe all safety laws, policies and rules, both on-site and during the operation of company vehicles

Requirements Minimum of 6 months to 1-year hands-on experience as a service technician/mechanic in the material handling equipment industry, or mechanical training/education, or experience in a related industry
Have your own complete line of tools including specialized tools needed to complete the job at the customer site
Basic computer skills
High school diploma or equivalent
Other Skills We Are Looking For Technical aptitude/experience in hydraulic, electrical, or mechanical systems.
Familiarity with equipment operation
Familiarity with diagnostic tools and equipment
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
PHYSICAL DEMANDS/ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS This Position will be working in operating facilities and outdoors traveling to customer locations. The normal auto hazards will apply.
