Internal Medicine Gastroenterology Department: The Department Employment Type: Full-Time Location: USA, Oregon Reports To: Clinical Leadership 1. POSITION SUMMARY This position provides general and advanced gastroenterology services within a hospital employed practice. The role includes joining a growing team of gastroenterology physicians and advanced practice providers in an expanding clinical environment. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES • Provide inpatient and outpatient gastroenterology care • Perform general and advanced GI procedures • Conduct evaluations, diagnostic assessments, and ongoing management • Collaborate with gastroenterology physicians, advanced practice providers, and multispecialty colleagues • Maintain accurate clinical documentation • Support quality and performance improvement initiatives 3. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS • Physician with qualifications in Gastroenterology 4. COMPETENCIES • Clinical expertise in general and advanced gastroenterology • Strong diagnostic and procedural skills • Effective communication with patients and multidisciplinary teams • Professionalism and ethical clinical practice • Ability to work collaboratively within a multispecialty environment 6. CLINICAL RESPONSIBILITIES • Provide gastroenterology services across inpatient and outpatient settings • Perform general and advanced GI procedures • Manage a broad range of gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary conditions • Participate in patient care within a growing GI department 7.
