Buyer/Purchasing Associate

Work Type: Staff Full Time (1500 hours or greater)

In this role, you will work with internal teams, suppliers, and subcontractors to source materials, equipment, and services while navigating federal acquisition requirements and University procedures. Review and approve requests for material, equipment and services in compliance with Federal Government acquisition regulations, uniform guidance and in accordance with University policies and procedures.
Acquire, qualify, input and manage sponsor, subcontractor and vendor business information for UDRI.
Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance or related field OR Associates degree in business plus 3 years of purchasing experience.
Experience in professional role with procurement fundamentals.
Ability to read and speak English.
Effective telephone, oral communication and interpersonal skills.+-
Proficient with Microsoft Office software suite.
S. citizen.
Experience in purchasing at a not for profit, research or Government agency.
