Attorney - associate - law

We are seeking a talented and motivated Mergers & Acquisitions Associate with 2–4 years of experience to join a sophisticated corporate practice. This is an opportunity to work on a broad range of domestic and cross-border transactions, advising public and private companies, private equity sponsors, investment funds, and other strategic clients on complex corporate matters.

Key Responsibilities Represent clients in domestic and cross-border mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and other strategic corporate transactions

Draft, review, and negotiate transaction documents, including purchase agreements, disclosure schedules, ancillary agreements, and corporate governance documents

Conduct and manage legal due diligence for complex transactions

Advise clients on corporate governance, transaction structuring, and regulatory considerations

Collaborate with specialists across tax, finance, employment, intellectual property, and other practice areas to support transaction execution

Manage multiple transactions simultaneously while maintaining exceptional attention to detail and client service

Participate in direct client interaction and contribute to business development initiatives as opportunities arise

Qualifications J.D. from an accredited law school

2–4 years of experience practicing mergers & acquisitions or corporate transactions at a law firm

Experience representing buyers and sellers in domestic and cross-border transactions

Strong understanding of corporate law and transaction structures, including acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, recapitalizations, carve-outs, and strategic investments

Excellent drafting, negotiation, analytical, and legal research skills

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities in a deadline-driven environmeny

Demonstrated commitment to collaboration, professionalism, and outstanding client service

Admission to the bar in the applicable jurisdiction or eligibility for admission
