RN-Registered Nurse Telemetry - Weekend Night Shift

Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) - Night Shift
This is a 13-week contract position.
Night shift from 19:00 to 07:00 with a requirement for weekend shifts (6 shifts every 6 weeks).
We are seeking a Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a telemetry unit. This role requires strong clinical skills and the ability to work within an interdisciplinary team to manage patients effectively. The RN will float between units as needed and must be adaptable to changing clinical needs.
Responsibilities:

Monitor and manage patients in a telemetry setting with a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:4-5.
Administer medications and treatments according to protocols.
Utilize the Epic charting system for documentation and patient management.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including IV teams, physical therapy, and respiratory services.
Provide education to patients and families regarding treatment plans and health maintenance.
Perform assessments and interventions for patients with various diagnoses, including CHF, COPD, and sepsis.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

Current RN license (Compact license required at submission).
Minimum of 1 year of telemetry nursing experience.
Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
Experience with patient ratios of 4-5 required; experience in Charge roles preferred.
Familiarity with patient care protocols, including managing cardiac drips and post-operative care.
