Responsible for maintaining patient flow, correctly marking films and or digital image with patient name, x-ray number, date of exam and with a lead marker, complete exams when dealing with difficult patients, i.e. patients in a wheelchair, unable to stand, unable to roll onto side, or straighten and/or bend extremity, assisting patients when help is needed changing clothes, standing up from wheelchair, getting on and off the x-ray or EKG table, follow established Radiation Safety protocol per HMC Radiology, demonstrate knowledge of safety factors in x-ray room, demonstrate knowledge of all paperwork and forms to sign, correctly turn on/off the processor, clean rollers, and run films, correctly set up and perform an EKG and a holter monitor, and other tasks as needed.Job Requirements:High school diploma or GED equivalent.BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
