REGISTERED NURSE - NICU Night Shift

Job Description:
This NICU Registered Nurse position offers a focused opportunity to work with neonates ranging from 29 to over 34 weeks gestation in a Level 3 setting. As part of a dedicated team, you will handle complex respiratory treatments, including ventilator management and airway suctioning, while also managing endocrine and metabolic needs such as insulin administration and blood glucose monitoring. The role involves 12-hour night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM, three days a week, for a 13-week contract. A key requirement is Cerner EMR experience—no exceptions—so you can seamlessly navigate the electronic documentation system. Expect to work every third weekend, with scrub attire provided. This assignment is ideal for a nurse with at least two years of NICU experience craving a challenge that combines technical skill with bedside impact.
