We currently have opportunities for Floor Registered Nurses - Day Shift - 7am - 7:30pm
The RN is responsible for implementing and evaluating patient care on the Adult/Adolescent/Geriatric units; for providing supervision and guidance for nursing staff members; for assuming responsibilities delegated by the Chief Nursing Officer, Assistant Chief Nursing Officer, or House Supervisor; for personal and professional growth and development. Completes patient admissions process, including nursing assessment.

Documents ongoing patient assessments/progress clearly and concisely as required by hospital and regulatory agency standards.

Medication management - administer medication and medical treatment as prescribed by a physician.

Ensures nursing interventions.

Provides milieu management and unit team leadership.

Provides appropriate nursing intervention/documentation in crisis situations.

Provides health education to patients and their families.

Prepares and adheres to facility patient discharge process.

Graduation from an accredited nursing program. Licensed by the Board of Nurse Examiners for the State of Texas (or licensed in a compact state).

One-year psychiatric nursing experience preferred.

CPR and hospital de‑escalation certifications which can be obtained during orientation.
