Head of Facility Management

About the Role:

CBRE is seeking a Facilities Manager to support a large, geographically dispersed portfolio of approximately 185 healthcare-related locations. This remote position plays a critical role in overseeing facility operations, vendor performance, maintenance programs, budgeting, and client satisfaction for a leading organization within the healthcare industry. The Facilities Manager will serve as a trusted partner to stakeholders, ensuring facilities operate efficiently, safely, and in alignment with business objectives.

What You'll Do:

Oversee day-to-day facilities operations and maintenance activities across a portfolio of approximately 185 locations.

Manage work order processes, ensuring service requests are completed accurately, efficiently, and within established timelines.

Build and maintain strong client relationships while delivering a high level of customer service and responsiveness.

Coordinate vendors, contractors, and service providers to support preventive maintenance, repairs, and facility projects.

Prepare, manage, and track operating budgets, expenses, and financial reporting to support portfolio performance.

Conduct facility assessments and inspections, identifying opportunities for operational improvements, repairs, and cost savings.

Ensure compliance with environmental health, safety, and regulatory requirements across the portfolio.

Support procurement activities, review vendor proposals, and manage invoicing and contract performance.

What You'll Need:

• 3+ years of facilities management, building operations, property management, or related experience.
• Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance programs, and facility operations.
• Experience managing budgets, forecasts, and operational expenses.
• Proven work order management experience within a multi-site environment.
• Demonstrated ability to manage vendor relationships, service agreements, and contractor performance.
• Exceptional customer service, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Facility Management Professional (FMP) certification preferred but not required.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and prioritization skills with the ability to manage a large portfolio independently.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate's education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Facilities Manager position is $85,000 annually and the maximum salary for the Facilities Manager position is $102,000 annually. The compensation offered to a successful candidate will depend on their skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE's applicable benefit program. This role will provide the following benefits: 401(K), Dental insurance, Health insurance, Life insurance, and Vision insurance.
