Hiring Process: Profile Review: Profile Review with MedSol Clinical, Interview with Unit manager at facility

Radius: 60 MILES, DL must be submitted

Week of orientation: Please ensure clinicians are in state for week of orientation even if first day modules are remote

Department: Inpatient Pharmacy - Mercy Hospital
Certs/Licensure Requirements Colorado Pharmacist License, BLS
What areas will they cover (ER, ICU, Inpt, Outpt, etc.)
All hospital service areas (ER, ICU, Inpatient, Imaging, Cath, Hospice etc)

Common Duties/Job Requirements/Skills

Pyxis pulls

Patient review

DTMs

MDR rounding

Phone Triage

Medication protocols/dosing

etc

Experience or 'Must have' skills
Must have expereince with Sterile Compounding and hospital pharmacy operations

Pharmacy Manager/Supervisor Anna Swanson

Pharmacy Techs? Yes

Shifts & Scheduling (Do you allow self-scheduling? Block scheduling?)
Pharmacists work a variety of 10 hour shifts and every other weekends. Shift times vary between the hours of 0600-2200.

Weekend Requirements
Every 4-6th weekend depending

Holiday Requirements
As assigned

Is there an on-call requirement?
Yes, one night weekly

Medication Dispensing System? How does it work?
Our hospital uses Epic as an EHR, Pyxis for dispensing and compounds sterile products

Scrubs or Dress Code Requirements
Hospital laundered scrubs provided

Department specific orientation
CSH general orientation and department orientation provided
