Schools Physical Therapist - (Full Time)

Overview As a K-12 school-based Physical Therapist in Bennettsville, SC, you will evaluate and provide therapy to students within the educational setting. Your days will include developing and implementing individualized therapy plans, providing direct physical therapy services, and collaborating with school staff to support student participation and safety.
Contract (option to renew) in a school setting
Hours: Full-time (Monday - Friday) 37.5 hrs
Large developmental disability population, ages 3+. Develop and implement individualized therapy plans (IEPs/504s) tailored to each student’s educational and functional goals
Provide direct physical therapy services to students individually or in small groups as outlined in their plans
Document evaluations, therapy sessions, progress notes, and maintain compliance with district, state, and federal requirements (including IDEA regulations)
Train school personnel on safe lifting, mobility assistance, and classroom accessibility strategies
Monitor, recommend, and assist with the use of adaptive equipment, mobility devices, and environmental modifications as needed
Stay informed on best practices and new developments in pediatric and school-based physical therapy
