8-hour day shift
~ Provides quality care under the supervision of a therapist. Supports departmental functions including equipment maintenance, cleaning and assisting the front desk.
Provide hands on assistance as directed by therapy provider in therapy sessions.
Provides safe patient equipment, ensures personal safety, and safe work environment.
Recognize emergency medical situations, symptoms, and take appropriate actions.
Uses equipment and proper body mechanics to reduce injury to self and patients.
Thoroughly documents relevant cleaning, maintenance, O2 tank status, and crash cart checks.
Activities may include patient transport to and from department, transfers, escorting patient to treatment room or gym when appropriate, supervise patients on equipment, and perform modality set-up based on training.
Complete equipment cleaning, stocking, and ordering as appropriate.
Participates in program development, professional practice, and quality teams as requested.
Promotes rehabilitation services.
May include answering phones, scheduling, copying, filing, calling patients, outcomes management, and medical records functions as training security allows.
High school diploma or GED
~0 to 2 years in a health care setting

Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association Current BLS certification from the American Red Cross Allina in-house BLS training (within 30 days of hire)

occasionally (*Allina Safe Patient Moving Policy), up to 25 lbs. Pay Range: $20.11 to $26.51 per hour The pay described reflects the base hourly pay range. Your starting rate would depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, your experience, education, and the union agreement (if applicable). Shift, weekend and/or other differentials may be available to increase your pay rate for certain shifts or work.
