Service Writer for customer service

This position is located in Woodland, California.

Overall objective is to ensure the development of customer relationships thorough successful management of service delivery.

Work as liaise between customer and technicians, ensuring timely repairs.

while writing estimates, communicating with all departments and achieving a high level of customer satisfaction.

Maintain a schedule board to ensure customer satisfaction.

Ensure all repairs are charged out correctly (Warranty, policy, etc.).

Maintain record of high-quality service repairs and rework.

Understand and comply with federal, state, and local regulations that affect service operations (Hazardous waste disposal, OSHA Right-to-Know, etc.).

Understand and ensure compliance with manufacturer warranty and policy procedures.

Communicate with Service Manager to ensure all department employees receive appropriate training.

Inform Service Manager of any technician or customer concerns as appropriate.

Build and maintain positive customer relationships to strengthen customer loyalty.

and/or two years related experience and/or training; Experience in writing estimates preferred. Ability to write service reports.

Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

Ability to add, subtracts, multiply and divides in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variable in situations where only limited standardization exists.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts and is regularly exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The employee frequently works in outside weather conditions and is occasionally exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals and vibration.
