Job: Registered Nurse – CVOR
Location: Galloway, NJ
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Day Shift | 4x10 Hours (6:30 AM – 5:00 PM)
Start Date: 06/29/2026
Responsibilities:

Provide perioperative nursing care for cardiovascular, vascular, thoracic, robotic, gynecological, and general surgery procedures.
Circulate CVOR procedures including CABG, valve replacements, TAVR, aneurysm repairs, thoracotomy, and vascular surgeries.
Assist surgical teams during hybrid OR and cardiovascular procedures.
Monitor sterile field integrity and maintain infection control standards throughout procedures.
Support robotic-assisted surgeries using the Da Vinci Xi Surgical System.
Prepare and manage surgical instruments, supplies, and specialized cardiovascular equipment.
Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, radiology, pharmacy, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Participate in on-call rotation including weekday and weekend call coverage.
Document patient care accurately using Cerner and PowerChart systems.
Float between Mainland and City campuses as needed based on staffing requirements.
Required Skills & Qualifications:

Active NJ RN License or Compact RN License required.
Minimum 1 year of OR/CVOR experience required.
ACLS and BLS certifications required.
Strong circulating experience required, including vascular and hybrid OR cases.
Scrub experience preferred.
Experience with cardiovascular, thoracic, vascular, GYN, robotics, and general OR procedures preferred.
Proficiency with Cerner and PowerChart charting systems required.
Ability to work staggered 10-hour shifts with weekday and weekend on-call responsibilities.
First-time travelers accepted.
Strong knowledge of sterile techniques, infection control, and surgical safety protocols.
