The QA Automation Engineer will lead and support the development of automated test frameworks, maintain test infrastructure, and work cross-functionally with DevOps, Engineering, and QA teams. This role is ideal for candidates with strong technical expertise, scripting and programming skills, and a passion for Quality Engineering and DevOps practices. The QA Automation Engineer will play a key role in ensuring our EHR platform performs reliably and securely in complex clinical environments, focusing on E2E integrated flows.

Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and test scripts for UI, API, contract, and integration testing.
Collaborate with Engineering and DevOps teams to implement and maintain automated E2E tests within the CI/CD pipelines.
Build and maintain automation frameworks using Playwright, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and reliability of automated tests.
Use AI tools such as Claude and Augment to accelerate workflows, build agentic tooling, and convert requirements and manual test cases into automated scripts.
3-5 years of experience in technical software testing or QA automation engineering.

• Strong programming or scripting skills in any language
• Hands-on experience with test automation tools such as Cypress and Playwright
• Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman) and performance testing tools (e.g., Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
• Ability to read and understand application architecture and database structures (SQL knowledge a plus).
• Proven ability to design and maintain scalable automation frameworks that support multiple QA contributors.

Experience in healthcare IT, particularly with EHR software or clinical systems.
Familiarity with containerization and cloud testing environments (e.g., Docker, AWS, Azure).
