• Location: Building B, 2nd Floor, Riverside Community Hospital
• Labor Beds: 11
• Obstetric Eval Beds: 4

- OB PACU: 2

• ORs: 2
• Total Staff: 79

- Shift Details:

• Day Shift: 1 Charge Nurse, 10 Staff Nurses, 2 OB Techs
• Night Shift: 1 Charge Nurse, 10 Staff Nurses, 2 OB Techs
• Patient Ratios: 1 RN/2 Patients, 1 RN/1 Patient

- Equipment & Technology:

• Fetal Monitoring: GE fetal monitoring
• EMR Systems: CPN, Meditech

- Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Required Skills:

• AWHONN Fetal Monitoring
• Couplet Care understanding if floater

- Preferred Experience:

• Over 2 years of Labor and Delivery
• Experience as a Transition Nurse/Baby Catcher

- Typical Procedures Performed:

• Non-Stress Test (NST)
• Cervical Exams
• Managing Labor
• Titrating Medications
• McRoberts Maneuver

- Personality Fit:

• Thrives in organized chaos
• Enjoys managing multiple patients

- Certifications Required:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
• AWHONN EFM (Electronic Fetal Monitoring)

- Floating Areas:
