Shift Details: 07:00 PM - 07:30 AM, 3 shifts per week, 36 scheduled hours.

Job Order Details: Start Date 08/17/2026, End Date 10/18/2026, Duration 13 weeks.

Job Description: DCH-Travel: CSICU/CSURNHOLIDAYS AS REQUIRED. EVERY OTHER WEEKEND. Must be willing to float to other units and hospitals. Will accept 36 or 48 hours per week. 2 years of recent CVICU experience is required. Our Cardiac Surgical Intensive Care Unit (CSICU) is a four 4-bed unit that directs its resources principally towards the care of adult and geriatric patients with cardiac, thoracic, vascular and other surgical conditions requiring critical care located on 4 North. The care of these patients is primarily focused on post-operative recovery and providing complex invasive hemodynamic monitoring. Nurses must exhibit high levels of professional competency. CSU is an 8 bed stepdown unit. The stepdown unit focuses on the care and recovery of patients after cardiac, thoracic, or vascular surgery. Both units are supported by a cardiovascular educator. Together we specialize in the patient centered approach to care. Our team is dedicated to making our patient’s experience pleasant and comfortable in a safe and secure environment.

Education: Required associated degree in nursing.

Certifications Required: AHA BLS OR RED CROSS AHA NIH.

Certifications Preferred: AHA PALS if working in pediatric unit.

Licenses Required: Registered Nurse State of Alabama or compact license (No Temp Licenses' accepted).

Experience Required: 2 years experience; must have 2 years of experience in the field of specialty.

Scrub Colors/Dress Code: Solid Navy.

Guaranteed Hours: 36.
