Head of Supply Chain and Procurement

Our client is seeking an experienced, strategic, and detail-oriented Purchasing Manager to lead their procurement operations. In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing high-quality materials, negotiating favorable vendor agreements, managing inventory levels, and optimizing our supply chain efficiency. The ideal candidate possesses great analytical skills, excellent negotiation tactics, and a proven track record of driving cost savings without compromising on quality or delivery timelines. Experience: 3–5+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain management, or a purchasing role (experience in construction, or a related industry is a huge plus).
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
Proven ability to negotiate high-value contracts and secure favorable commercial terms.
Data Literacy: Advanced analytical mindset with proficiency in Excel and experience using ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) or procurement software.
Communication: Must have exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and manage external partnerships. Spanish speaking candidates are highly desirable.

Strategic Sourcing & Procurement: Develop and implement localized and nationwide sourcing strategies to secure cost-effective and high-quality materials, equipment, and services.
Conduct regular vendor performance reviews based on quality, delivery speed, and pricing compliance.
Contract Negotiation: Lead negotiations for supplier contracts, service level agreements (SLAs), and pricing terms to maximize profitability and minimize supply chain risks.
Inventory & Demand Planning: Partner closely with internal operations and project teams to forecast demand, maintain optimal inventory levels, and prevent material shortages or overstock.
Analyze market trends, material costs, and pricing data to identify cost-reduction opportunities and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
