The Operations Manager role at Hills Daniels & Associates is pivotal in ensuring seamless and efficient law firm operations. Operational Oversight: Own the day‑to‑day operations of the firm, ensuring workflows run smoothly, priorities are clear, and nothing falls through the cracks.

Build, manage, and maintain reporting around new cases, settlements, productivity, and key performance indicators (KPIs), providing leadership with clear visibility into firm performance.

SOP Implementation: Create, refine, document, and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to drive consistency, accountability, and operational efficiency across teams.

Vendor Management: Oversee and coordinate with external vendors and service providers (including technology platforms) to support reliable and effective firm operations.

Performance Tracking: Conduct quarterly performance reviews and manage metrics tied to productivity, caseload balance, and team performance across the firm.

Law Firm Experience: Prior experience in law firm operations is strongly preferred, ideally with 2–3+ years in a similar role supporting attorneys, paralegals, and firm leadership in a fast‑paced environment.

Proven ability to build, refine, document, and enforce SOPs, establish accountability across teams, and create operational structure where it’s needed most.

Technical Proficiency: Comfortable working in a Microsoft 365, PC‑based environment, with the ability to quickly learn and manage tools such as RingCentral, Case Status, and Connecteam (or comparable systems).

Demonstrated ability to build trust, earn respect, and hold teams accountable, setting clear expectations, following up consistently, and driving performance without ego or drama.
