Security Professional - Weekends Only

The security officer's role is crucial in maintaining excellent working conditions at our premises. They will be responsible for surveilling our premises and safeguarding our staff and visitors at a designated work site. The security officer must be proficient in surveillance techniques and dealing with perpetrators. Our goal is to ensure the safety and security of our facilities, providing a comfortable and secure environment for our staff and visitors. We are looking to fill the following shift ONLY at this time: 1600 - 0400 (4pm - 4am) Work days: Alternating Wednesdays with Thursday - Saturday Days Off: Sunday - Tuesday with Alternating Wednesdays Off.

Secure all exits, doors, and windows at the end of operations.

Check surveillance cameras periodically to identify disruptions or unlawful acts.

Provide assistance to people in need.

Submit reports of daily surveillance activities and important occurrences.

Ensure compliance with all applicable safety standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.

Promptly report unsafe conditions, equipment issues, or incidents to management.

Participate in required training sessions and safety briefings.

Proven experience as a security officer or guard.

Knowledge of legal guidelines for area security and public safety.

Familiarity with detailed report writing and observation techniques.

Familiarity with CPTED (Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design), the Incident Command System, and critical infrastructure protection.

Bilingual ability is a plus.

Excellent surveillance and observation skills.

Tech‑savvy, with experience in surveillance systems.

Registered as a security officer.

High school diploma required.

Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Ability to visually inspect and interpret data or details

Use of personal protective equipment (PPE)

Extended periods of driving or travel

Shift work, weekend availability, or on‑call assignments

Frequent use of hands to operate computer systems, tools, or equipment

Employees in safety‑sensitive roles may need to comply with all applicable safety, drug/alcohol testing, and fitness‑for‑duty requirements under state and federal law.
