Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN for a travel position at a high-acuity, inner-city Level 1 trauma center, requiring prior travel experience and Level 1 trauma background.
Details

• Operating Room (OR) in a high-acuity, inner-city Level 1 trauma center handling complex, high-volume, and diverse surgical cases
• Day shift: 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM, 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week
• On-call responsibilities are required
• Weekend coverage required — travelers are expected to work 4 weekend shifts per month
• Holiday coverage is required
• Block scheduling is not available for this position
• 13-week contract

Requirements

Active RN license in Georgia or a compact state currently in hand
Previous travel nursing experience required
Level 1 trauma center experience required, with a background in high-volume hospitals managing critical and fast-paced cases
Strong OR skills with a high rating on the skills checklist
Burn nursing experience preferred
Additional Information

This facility is a high-acuity, inner-city Level 1 trauma center known for complex, high-volume, and severe cases — candidates with experience limited to small or low-volume hospitals are not likely to be considered
