The Elementary Teacher sits on the Academic Team at Slater Elementary School reporting to the principal. Create high-quality, differentiated lessons and assessments to meet diverse student needs.
Utilize a variety of teaching methods and resources to engage students and foster a passion for learning.
Analyze data to guide instructional choices and offer targeted support to students requiring extra help.
Provide daily feedback on student performance and tailor plans to address individual learning needs.
Collaborate with Special Education Teachers to ensure all IEPs and student needs are effectively addressed both inside and outside the classroom.

Uphold and promote the school’s values, policies, and culture, while creating a sense of belonging both inside and outside the classroom.
Build positive relationships with students, families, colleagues, and community members.
Participate in school events such as staff meetings, open houses, parent-teacher conferences, and other community activities.
Create a classroom atmosphere that supports learning and is tailored to the developmental needs and interests of students.
Participate in school-wide and individualized professional development opportunities.

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution in a related field required.
Master’s, Specialist, or Doctorate Degree from an accredited institution in a related field preferred.
Required: 0 years of teaching experience
Preferred: 5-7 years of teaching experience
