Red Baron Transportation is seeking skilled and dependable CDL Yard Spotters to support our day and night shift operations in Plattsburgh, NY. The ideal candidate has a strong safety focus and thrives in the fast-paced environment of a logistics and distribution center.

Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections on all yard tractors and trailers.

Communicate effectively with warehouse leadership and operations teams to coordinate trailer activity.

Promptly identify and report any equipment malfunctions, potential hazards, or safety concerns.

Support other yard and site-related tasks as required.

High school diploma or GED equivalent.

Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).

Current and valid DOT Medical Card.

A clean driving record with a proven history of safe operations.

A minimum of 3 years of experience in a yard spotter or similar CDL role is strongly preferred.

Proficiency in operating yard tractors in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
