About This Office
Biltmore Dental Group is seeking a Dental Hygienist to join our connected and welcoming team in Asheville, North Carolina. We are open to new graduates and experienced hygienists, with a preference for full-time availability, though part-time schedules can be discussed. If you are a team player with an honest, positive personality, we would love to meet you.
Schedule

Monday–Thursday: 7:45 AM – 5:00 PM
Friday: 7:45 AM – 1:00 PM
Job Description & Responsibilities
The Dental Hygienist is responsible for delivering high-quality preventive and therapeutic dental hygiene care while creating a positive, comfortable experience for every patient.
Key responsibilities include:

Providing comprehensive dental hygiene services including prophylaxis, periodontal therapy, and preventive care
Performing periodontal assessments, charting, and documentation with accuracy and attention to detail
Educating patients on oral health, preventive strategies, and home care techniques
Working collaboratively with doctors and team members to support individualized treatment plans
Maintaining a clean, organized, and compliant clinical environment
Supporting office goals through teamwork, professionalism, and a positive attitude
Helping foster a welcoming and supportive environment for patients and teammates
Qualifications

Active or pending North Carolina Dental Hygiene license
New graduates welcome; experienced hygienists encouraged to apply
Full-time availability preferred; part-time opportunities open for discussion
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Honest, reliable, and team-focused mindset
Positive personality with a commitment to patient care and collaboration

Qualifications:

Current dental hygienist license
Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
CPR Certification
Preferred Experience

Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems
Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health
Clinical needs as required by office
Completion of Tuberculosis (TB) testing prior to starting employment
