The Phlebotomist II is responsible for collecting venous and capillary blood specimens from patients in a safe and accurate manner according to established lab policies and practices. In combination with regular phlebotomist duties, additional duties includes but not limited to proficiencies in specimen processing, maintaining inventory, dispatch scheduling and EPIC registration. High School graduate or equivalent.
- Or, successful completion of Phlebotomy program.
- 6 months of phlebotomy experience.
- Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude.
- Good keyboarding skills with ability to learn various laboratory application and HHC computer systems.
- Ability to operate required lab equipment including pneumatic tube.
