Job Description

Junction 35 Kitchen & Bar is seeking a friendly and organized Host to join our front-of-house team. As a Host, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for their dining experience. Your role will be crucial in ensuring that our guests feel welcomed, seated promptly, and enjoy their time at Junction 35.

Key Responsibilities

Welcome and greet all guests with a friendly smile and positive demeanor.

Manage reservations and seating arrangements, maximizing dining room efficiency.

Maintain an accurate waitlist and inform guests of wait times to ensure customer satisfaction.

Escort guests to their tables and present menus while engaging with them to enhance their experience.

Answer phone calls and address customer inquiries with professionalism and care.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand, entrance area, and dining room.

Assist in managing the flow of the restaurant during busy service times.

Uphold all health and safety standards, ensuring guest comfort throughout their visit.

Qualifications

Previous experience as a host or in a customer service role preferred but not required.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.

Ability to remain calm and composed in a fast-paced environment while maintaining positive attitude.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

A friendly, welcoming attitude and a genuine desire to provide excellent service.

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
