Job Description Join our team as a per diem Caregiver ! Employment begins when you accept your first patient assignment , giving you flexibility while making a meaningful impact. Caregivers assist patients with daily living activities, supporting their independence and comfort in the home environment.
Key Responsibilities
Provide companionship and engagement to older adults in their homes.
Support Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs) such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, errands, and companionship.
Encourage patient engagement, independence, and emotional well-being.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services provided.
Follow agency policies and procedures, including HIPAA compliance.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required
Home care experience preferred but not required
Reliable, compassionate, and patient-focused
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
BLS certification recommended
Per Diem Terms
Employment begins upon first patient assignment
Flexible scheduling based on patient needs and your availability
No guaranteed hours; assignments offered according to agency demand
Pay: $17.66 - $20.05 per hour
