Warehouse Operator
This role supports warehouse operations by accurately receiving, storing, picking, and shipping products while maintaining a safe, clean, and organized environment. You will handle a variety of material handling tasks, operate warehouse equipment, and use warehouse management tools to ensure timely and precise order fulfillment.
Pull customer orders from warehouse locations and use conveyor systems for sorting and staging.
Hand-load semi-trucks and smaller box trucks according to delivery requirements to ensure secure and efficient loading.
Operate material handling equipment (MHE), which may include forklifts, order pickers, pallet jacks, reach trucks, slip sheet attachments, and clamper trucks or attachments, in a safe and compliant manner as required.
Use the Warehouse Management System (WMS), RF scan guns, and related tools to maintain accurate inventory levels and ensure proper location of goods in the warehouse.
Assist with physical inventories and cycle counts as directed to support accurate stock records.
Collaborate with associates during shift hand-offs to ensure clear communication and continuity of operations.
Frequently interact with delivery personnel and the early morning receiving crew to coordinate inbound and outbound activities.
Maintain general housekeeping standards by keeping work areas clean, organized, and free of safety hazards.
Perform additional warehouse-related responsibilities as assigned to support overall operational needs.
At least 1 year of warehouse experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience with unloading trailers, sorting, picking, packing, and loading products.
Ability to consistently lift 35-48 lbs throughout the shift and occasionally move, push, or drag up to 100 lbs.
Ability to use RF scanners and other warehouse tools to perform inventory and picking tasks.
Familiarity with basic inventory control practices and warehouse workflows.
Ability to safely operate or learn to operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, order pickers, pallet jacks, reach trucks, slip sheet attachments, and clamper trucks or attachments.
Strong attention to detail to verify load accuracy and maintain correct inventory locations.
Ability to work effectively with team members across different shifts and with delivery and receiving personnel.
Experience using a Warehouse Management System (WMS) for tracking inventory and locations.
Experienced in general labor roles involving physical work, lifting, and manual handling.
Previous experience in a fast-paced distribution, logistics, or warehouse environment.
Comfort working with conveyor systems and other automated material handling equipment.
Strong organizational skills to support efficient order picking, staging, and loading.

This position is based in a warehouse facility in Anchorage, operating on a Monday through Friday schedule from 7:00 a.m. The work involves frequent standing, walking, lifting 35-48 lbs throughout the shift, and occasionally moving, pushing, or dragging up to 100 lbs. You will work around conveyor systems, semi-trucks, and smaller box trucks while using material handling equipment such as forklifts, order pickers, pallet jacks, reach trucks, slip sheet attachments, and clamper trucks or attachments. Daily tasks require the use of a Warehouse Management System (WMS) and RF scan guns to manage inventory and locations. The environment is active and physically demanding, with regular interaction with delivery drivers, receiving crews, and team members during shift hand-offs. This is a Contract position based out of Anchorage, AK.
