Travel Registered Nurse – Cardiovascular Care Unit (Telemetry) | Night Shift
Overland Park, KS | Acute Care
Contract | Travel | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Onsite | 3 shifts per week, every 3rd weekend required | 48 hours guaranteed preferred
Provide direct patient care in a 28-bed Cardiovascular Care Unit serving acute cardiac patients, including cath lab patients (ablations, PFO closures, stents, pacers) as well as stroke patients and PCU overflow
Perform basic med-tele procedures and operate unit equipment including EKG, bladder scanner, Alaris pumps, Pyxis, sit-to-stand, Hoyer lift, and hover mat
Document accurately using Meditech EBCD electronic documentation system
Participate in Nurse Leader Rounds, including pre- and post-rounds, and actively support patient experience initiatives focused on nurse communication, courtesy, and respect
Float to like units as needed (Ortho/Neuro/CCU/CDU/SSU/Obs/Rehab)
Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license
Minimum 1 year of RN experience
Prior cardiac or cardiovascular care unit experience strongly preferred
Familiarity with cath lab patient care (ablations, stents, pacers, PFO closures)
