Role Description The Clinical Dietitian is a full-time, on-site role based in Warner Robins, GA. This role is responsible for assessing patients' nutritional status, developing individualized nutrition care plans, and providing evidence-based medical nutrition therapy in collaboration with the interdisciplinary care team. Day-to-day tasks include conducting nutrition assessments, documenting care in the medical record, monitoring patient progress, and adjusting interventions to support recovery and long-term health. The Clinical Dietitian will offer nutritional counseling and education to patients, families, and caregivers, and participate in quality improvement initiatives, clinical rounds, and staff education related to nutrition and wellness.
Qualifications Solid foundation in Nutrition and Human Nutrition, with the ability to apply scientific principles in a clinical setting.
Proficiency in Dietetics and Medical Nutrition Therapy, including assessment, diagnosis, intervention, and monitoring of nutrition-related conditions.
Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential or eligibility, and state licensure as required in Georgia.
Experience in an acute care or clinical healthcare environment is highly beneficial.
Ability to collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other allied health professionals.
Commitment to evidence-based practice, continuous learning, and culturally responsive patient care.
