Unit Details: 9-bed ED (7 ED rooms, 2 trauma beds), average daily census of 25, patient ratio 1:4-5
Electronic Medical Record: Cerner (preferred)
Active RN license in Indiana
Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Department nursing experience (3 years preferred)
IV starts, nursing assessments, critical care drips
ICU drips, Cerner EMR experience
Must reside more than 50 miles from Bluffton, IN (local candidates not accepted)
Valid driver's license and permanent home address matching ID required
ER Nurse Responsibilities
Provide high-quality, compassionate patient care in the Emergency Department
Conduct thorough nursing assessments and initiate timely interventions
Start IVs, administer medications, and manage critical care drips
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare team members
Accurately document patient care using Cerner EMR
Respond to emergency situations and deliver life-saving interventions
Maintain a safe, clean work environment and adhere to hospital policies
