Watercrest Fredricksburg is looking for a Dining Room Server/Wait Staff to join their Culinary team! As a key member of the team, your warm smile and greeting will welcome our residents, associates, and guests into fully experiencing a Watercrest Culinary Experience, filled with the deliciousness of fine dining, as well as the comfort of a home-like environment.
Assist residents with seating in the dining room
Greet residents when taking and serving meal selections
Ensure proper dining room setup and proper table setting
Knowledge of table clearing techniques during and after dining service
Responsible for resetting table during and after dining service
General duties include but are not limited to: cleaning, mopping, sweeping, and dusting the kitchen and dining room
Ensures proper garbage and trash removal
Complete side work: napkin folding, stocking and cleaning wait station, refilling condiments
Provide a high satisfactory level of customer service to promote a restaurant style dining atmosphere
Reports to the Cook or Executive Chef any equipment and supplies that are needed
Ensures the proper use of equipment and supplies and upholds cleaning and safety standards
Able to communicate effectively with all levels of management, team members, residents, family members, vendors, referral sources and outside contacts
Must possess a passion to work with and around senior citizens
Knowledge of customer service principles and practices
High School Graduate or equivalent

Experience in serving in an upscale dining environment is preferred
