We are looking for candidates with 2+ years of scanning experience in pediatric congenital heart disease, and those that have passed the pediatric echo registry exam. Eligible to take the ARDMS or CCI boards in cardiac or vascular sonography within one year of hire date.
Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers.
Participating in and/or graduate of accredited or certificate program
Intermountain Adult Echocardiography Program

ARDMS or CCI certification in cardiac or vascular sonography.
Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers
ARDMS or CCI certification in cardiac or vascular sonography.
Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers.
Adult Echo; Adult Congenital Echo; Advanced Cardiac Sonographer
10 years of cardiology/healthcare service -OR- ≥5+ cardiology/healthcare service + Associates Degree
Competency (participate in either of the following): Echo; Adult Congenital; ARDMS or CCI certification in cardiac or vascular sonography.
Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers.
Obtain a minimum of one registry with the following years of service:: ≥15+ years of cardiology/healthcare service or ≥10+ years of cardiology/healthcare service + bachelor’s or master’s Degree

Bachelor’s Degree. 2 years of experience in Pediatric Cardiology

Ongoing need for employee to see and read information, labels, assess patient needs, operate monitors, identify equipment and supplies.
Frequent interactions with patient care providers, patients, and visitors that require employee to verbally communicate as well as hear and understand spoken information, alarms, needs, and issues quickly and accurately, particularly during emergency situations.
Manual dexterity of hands and fingers to manipulate complex and delicate equipment with precision and accuracy. This includes frequent computer use and typing for documenting patient care, accessing needed information, medication preparation, etc.
Will also bend to retrieve, lift, and carry supplies and equipment. Need to walk and assist with transporting/ambulating patients and obtaining and distributing supplies and equipment. This includes pushing/pulling gurneys and portable equipment, including heavy items. Often required to navigate crowded and busy rooms (full of equipment, power cords on the floor, etc.)
