Part-Time Overnight Security Officers Needed

Yulista is interviewing multiple dedicated Part-Time Night Watchmen to help ensure the security of personnel and vessel while in port, and critical government assets right here in Panama City Beach, Florida .

Makes sound and security rounds throughout vessel following a predetermined schedule and prescribed route

• Reports inconsistencies immediately to commanding officer
• Ensures they are functioning and maintained in accordance with original equipment manufacturers recommendations
• Protects government equipment and assets
• Answers and responds appropriately to any alarm conditions such as fire or flooding
• Takes vessel draft readings. Reads visual markings on vessel hull and compare those readings against previous records
• Assists other crew members to protect vessel against flooding take appropriate proactive measure once per watch
• Night Watchman will be required to perform Line Handler duties when the vessel gets underway or returns to port outside normal working hours
• Places ship on or offshore or generator power in accordance with engineering operating and sequencing procedures
• The Night Watchman may be required to perform other related duties to meet the ongoing needs of the organization and vessel

Beginner computer skills specifically using Microsoft Office Suite; ability to learn additional computer skills or software programs. Working knowledge of advanced software applications is preferred

• Ability to understand and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Will also routinely interact with other crew members
• Ability to use general office equipment such as fax, phone, copier, scanner, printers, etc.
• Strong professional customer service skills, including active listening, prompt service and follow-up.
• Strong decision analysis and problem-solving skills; ability to draw conclusions and justify decisions. Ability to learn and understand corporate policies and procedures and how they relate to goals.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
• Prior maritime, military, security or mechanical background preferred
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance
