Machinist - Evening

This job exists to make high precision, close tolerance medical housings on CNC Swiss lathes. This is a Second Shift position, scheduled from 3:00 PM to 1:30 AM.

Sets up and operates CNC Swiss machines
Produces medical housings, in a timely manner, in accordance with blueprints, sketches, and work orders, with close supervision
Inspects and measures micro parts with general measuring devices, and makes machine offset adjustments
Performs setups, changeovers, and tool offsets on multiple CNC Swiss machines with close supervision
Maintains a clean and organized work area, adhering to our established quality and safety standards
Performs visual and physical inspection of parts produced
Monitor machine performance, identify deviations, and make appropriate adjustments as needed
Assist with maintenance and repair of equipment
High School Diploma or GED required
Some work experience desired
Specialized machinist training and/or certification a plus
Able to handle small parts
Experience working with microscopes, toolmaker's scopes, and other precision measurement methods and equipment
Strong attention to detail and quality-oriented
Required to reach with hands and arms to handle documents and products
Must be able to enter data into a computer by use of a keyboard and mouse
