IT SysAdmin

Join AZAD Technology Partners as a System Administrator and provide expert technical guidance to management, and support mission-critical applications to ensure 24x7 availability. The position will require collaboration with internal and external Subject Matter Experts specializing in software development, quality assurance, etc. to verify application readiness for production. The ideal candidate must be highly organized, eager to adopt new technologies, and capable of managing multiple high-priority projects simultaneously.

This position is hybrid based in Portland, OR with onsite 3 days per week. The hourly pay rate for this position is between $60.00 and $65.00 depending on related qualifications and experience, as well as composition of selected compensation package.

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business Systems, Engineering or a directly related field is preferred.

6 years of experience is required with an applicable bachelor's degree.

10 years of experience is required without an applicable bachelor's degree.

Experience should include demonstrated work experience supporting and maintaining operational software applications in Computer Science/Information Technology and transforming data for automation efforts.

Experience in Database queries and stored procedures

Experience in various operating systems like Windows, Linux, RedHat, and specific enterprise systems is crucial. This includes installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

Microsoft Office Suite applications, specifically PowerPoint, Access, and Project

Designing and/or maintaining high availability systems having 24x7 support

Proven experience collaborating with software developers, testers and users throughout the System Life Cycle (SLC)

Provide a sustainable IT infrastructure by supplying cross training and functional documentation.

Experience in all aspects of the software development lifecycle for a high availability environment.

Configuration management concepts and practices

Project management and coordination concepts and principles

Experience in any aspect of software development lifecycle for a utility environment.

Experience with the set-up, configuration or oversight of change and/or configuration management tools

Experience developing process, procedures to support compliance efforts

Excel at solving problems by debugging, troubleshooting
