We are in service to others; The Facility Security Officer (FSO) is directly responsible for operating an efficient and effective facility security program which is in full compliance with the NISPOM and consistent with ATI, DOD and DOE security policies, procedures and requirements. This role requires a security professional who can operate independently, manage multiple programs, interface with government and internal customers, and provide guidance across ATI and direct supervision to the Facility Security Team.

We offer a hybrid schedule (in-office & remote/work from home) or an onsite schedule and flexible hours. Candidates will need to reside near Charleston, SC to ensure work site flexibility.

Manages all aspects of the company's Facility Security program and supervises a security team consisting of 3-4 employees including front desk receptionist support.

Serves as the Facility Security Officer responsible for managing the day-to-day security requirements in accordance with 32 CFR Part 117, NISPOM to include DD254 compliance, Personnel and Physical Security, and Information Security.

Serve as ATI's Insider Threat Program Security Officer coordinating insider threat monitoring and reporting.

Serve as ATI's OPSEC Manager

Responsible for coordinating and supervising guard services at the facility.

Responsible for ensuring the security program is in compliance with the National Industry Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM). Generates and submits DD254, Contract Security Classification Specification, as required by ATI programs.

Responsible to conduct an annual security program self-inspection and correct and report any findings.

Responsible for preparing for and for collaborating with the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) for mandated security program inspections.

Initiates initial and periodic security clearance investigation requests; Manage security requirements including personnel security, indoctrinations, debriefings, access rosters, and clearance verifications

Oversee required security documentation, briefings, records, self-inspections, physical security for ICD 705 accredited facilities

Oversee front desk operations with a strong emphasis on safety and security, ensuring the front desk follows all visitor management protocols, emergency procedures, and workplace safety standards to maintain a secure and compliant environment.

Develop, coordinate and conduct security education and training as required; Serves as the COMSEC Custodian if applicable.

Develop and deliver new employee security briefings, security indoctrinations, annual refresher briefings and debriefings of employees.

Manage foreign travel reporting process and briefing requirements, as required.

Assist employees with the completion of security clearance paperwork and visit requests.

Administer the security program in accordance with applicable policies and regulations.

Investigate reports of security violations or security issues and prepare incident reports.

Participate in external security inspections and internal self-inspections.

Conduct random entry and exit inspections; perform periodic security checks around the facility.

Review and screen DD Form 2345, Military Critical Technical Data Agreements, to ensure internal processes are correctly followed.

Bachelor's degree and five or more years related experience, or two years of observed, proven, directly relevant experience; Must have previous security experience and in in-depth knowledge of Department of Defense security requirements. Must have knowledge of the proper use, marking and storage of classified materials, documents and equipment.

Knowledge, experience, and understanding of both the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) and the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) required to effectively perform duties in this position.

Must remain current on changes to the National Security Program process and systems.

Must be a United States citizen.

Must currently possess a DOD security clearance at the Top Secret level or have current eligibility.
